List of Omaha Dog Parks

The City of Omaha has 4 different dog parks. Here is a list and information about those parks.

Dewey Dog Park

550 Turner Blvd.
Omaha, NE 68105

Open to the public from dawn to dusk.
10,000 sq. ft. dog park. Separate small dog and all dog areas. Includes dog agility obstacles, shaded seating, and water features.

 


Hefflinger Dog Park
112th Ave & Maple St
Omaha, NE 68197

Open to the public from dawn to dusk.
7 acres of play, separated into two sections. One 5 acre "all dog play." One 2 acre small dog play.

Open to the public from dawn to dusk.
2.1 acres of play, separated into three sections. One 0.5 acres for small dogs. Two 0.8 acres for bigger dogs.

 


Miller Dog Park

2707 Redick Ave
Omaha, NE 68122

Open to the public from dawn to dusk.
7,700 sq. ft. dog park. Separate small dog and all dog areas. Includes dog agility obstacles, shaded seating, and water features.

 


Omaha Dog Bar

1231 S. 14th Street
Omaha, NE 68108

A unique membership-based community for dogs and their humans in the historic Little Bohemia neighborhood. They have combined a professionally maintained indoor/outdoor bark park, with a bar and eatery where owners can work or socialize while their pups run, jump and play in a safe, monitored and fun environment.

Omaha's First Private Members only K9 Social & Athletic Club which includes access to a 6+ acre off-leash dog park. This dog park is a fenced-in property on the outskirts of Omaha, NE. The vast land allows you and your canine to roam freely and exercise however you please.

Other Dog Parks around the Omaha Area

Jewell Dog Park
600-624 Combs Road
Bellevue, NE 68005

A part of the Jewell Park in the city of Bellevue, Nebraska.
The local authorities have designated Jewell Dog Park as an area for exercising dogs off-leash. Dogs are also allowed in the main park and on the trails but must be kept leashed.

  

Walnut Creek Dog Park
South of 96th Street and Highway 370
Papillion, NE 68046

Leash-free dog park inside the Walnut Creek Lake and Recreation Area in the City of Papillion.
2 fully fenced-in areas, one for large breeds, one for small breeds, as well as a native area with pond access. The rest of the park is on-leash only.
