If you are from the midwest, you may not be familiar with name D.R. Horton.

In 2021, D.R. Horton was the LARGEST home builder in the entire United States. They built over 71,000 homes. Much of that coming from California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida.

In late 2021, it was announced that D.R. Horton was expanding to Omaha.

Don't tour a model home without reading this, it could save you thousands of dollars.

Earnest Deposit

DR Horton's earnest deposit is $1,000. It's the lowest deposit of any builder in the Omaha area.

Warranty

DR Horton offers a one-year home warranty.

It does cover some electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues for 2 years.

And it covers major structural defects for 10 years.
