Golf Course Homes in Omaha, Nebraska

With twenty-nine golf courses to choose from, residents in the Omaha metro area can enjoy the full range of golfing experiences, from lush, private clubs where membership is required to public greens that require a daily fee. Additionally, Omaha Parks and Recreation offers nine municipal golf courses including four full 18-hole courses; tee times must be reserved in advance either in person or by calling the course. A small fee is required for play on these outstanding public facilities. Golf clinics are available free of charge for children aged eight to fourteen.

Golf enthusiasts in Omaha, Nebraska have a number of options for an afternoon’s play. A number of private clubs offer championship level golf courses including a full range of amenities; these deluxe courses provide a challenge for established golfers while including such necessities as a full pro shop. Many Omaha golfing establishments include private lessons and the services of an on-staff golf pro; most include a 19th hole or other club where golfers can relax and refresh themselves after a spirited round. Private golf courses usually require membership, though guest passes are sometimes available for a fee. A number of the country clubs in Omaha offer golf course privileges and include a wide number of other amenities with membership.

The public golf courses offered by Omaha Parks and Recreation provide an excellent venue for individuals looking to improve aspects of their game or simply to enjoy a round of golf in a relaxed, less competitive environment. Small fees are assessed for play on these well-manicured and maintained courses; discounts are available for golfers seventeen years of age and younger and for senior citizens, and discount cards can be purchased from the Parks and Recreation office. Nine-hole and championship eighteen-hole courses are located throughout the metropolitan area; green fees include use of a golf cart where available. With public and private facilities offering world-class golf courses to members and guests, Omaha offers unique advantages to golfers residing throughout the area.
