Who Pays for a Home Inspection?

It is standard for the buyer to pay for the home inspection. 

 

A home inspection is not required when buying a home, but it is strongly encouraged.

 

If you elect to go with additional inspections (radon, roof, electrical, etc.), it may cost more. A radon inspection can be ordered at the time you schedule a home inspection.
