We bet you didn't know that March isn't the only month to get your Irish on.

On Sept. 12 and 13, Holy Cross Catholic Church will transform itself from a place of worship to a place of celebration as locals gather for one of Omaha's most zealous neighborhood festivals. The church, located on 48th and Woolworth, will be the site of two days of pure fun, including a 5K, a fundraiser for the church and its school, a family day and plenty of music and beer.

Now you  might be asking yourself, "Why an Irish festival in September?!" It's pretty simple. September marks the halfway point to St. Patrick's Day ... and we're not complaining!
