This established neighborhood features mature landscaping and tall trees. With larger lots, homeowners enjoy the serene surroundings yet remain a short distance from major retailers, restaurants, and area shopping malls. 

Most homes in this Northwest Omaha neighborhood offer at least three bedrooms and three baths, while many of the larger homes within the neighborhood also supply four or five bedrooms. While some of the homes within the neighborhood were constructed in the early 1990s to early 2000s, it’s not uncommon to find homes that have been recently updated to include such features as hardwood flooring and granite countertops. Many homes also offer such coveted added features as walk-in closets, kitchen islands, and some finished basements. Floor plans within the neighborhood typically range from ranch and raised ranch to multi-level, tri-level, split-entry or two-story designs.

Ranging mostly from around 1,400 square feet to around 2,500 square feet, the spacious homes also often include properties of ¼-acre to 1/3-acre in size, offering plenty of private space for outdoor living and entertaining, including private decks and patios. Covered by an active homeowner’s association, each owner is responsible for an average $50 annual assessment fee that helps to take care of common area maintenance needs of the entire neighborhood of Diamond Head.
