Hartman School was originally constructed for the 1964-1965 school year. A new addition was added to the building some years later. The new addition consisted of 20 classrooms for PreK through sixth grade. Building renovations and another addition in 2018-2020 created a new look for Hartman. The building currently serves 20 sections of PreK through fifth grades.

Hartman Elementary offers art, music, instrumental music (4th/5th), choir, library/media, physical education, GATE, and counseling support.
