The Underwood Hills Focus School has been a joint collaboration between 3 school districts and has been created as a model for the Professional Learning Community legislation in Nebraska. The school opened in 2008-2009 and is open to al 11 districts in within this learning community with the students chosen thru a lottery system. The school is similar to a magnet school but has no boundaries.
It is the mission of Wilson Focus School to help all children to embrace diversity and cultivate learning through the use of leadership, technology, and communication. By broadening the vision of students, families, educators, and community we will create leaders who contribute to the global society.
